Liyun He, Tiancai Wen, Shiyan Yan, Runjin Li, Zufa Liu, Hui Ren, Jinmin Liu, Fengshan Zhang, Jianzhong Wu, Jian Liu

Frontiers of Medicine 2011, Volume 5, Issue 2,   Pages 229-234 doi: 10.1007/s11684-011-0139-5

Abstract: Dianxianning, which was used as additive treatment to treat 206 epilepsy patients, on the epilepsy seizureBased on a multicenter, prospective, randomized, and controlled clinical trial design, we used the seizureThe results showed that 1) Effect on seizure rate: After a three-month treatment, the seizure rate ofcomparing the two groups, there was a significant difference between these groups ( <0.05). 2) Effect on seizureindicated that, as an additive treatment, Dianxianning has a good effect on controlling the epilepsy seizure

F-FDG-PET glucose hypometabolism pattern in patients with epileptogenic hypothalamic hamartoma

Frontiers of Medicine 2021, Volume 15, Issue 6,   Pages 913-921 doi: 10.1007/s11684-021-0874-1

Abstract: metabolic pattern in patients with hypothalamic hamartoma (HH) could facilitate the understanding of the epilepticThe correlations among tomography result, seizure type, sex, and structural magnetic resonance imagingThe characteristics of glucose hypometabolism differed across seizure type and sex.cerebral cortex, subcortical regions, and cerebellar regions, may be involved in a pathway related to seizure
